Sighting. In Jacobsen et al., 2004: "From August to September 2001 there was a right whale observation claimed to have been made in Oslo fjord, Southern Norway. The whale was observed at short distance, 50-100m, moving northwards east of Tofteholmene (59° 31'N, 10° 34'E). The next day the presumed same animal was seen in the same area moving southwards. The observation was made by a fisherman with 6 yr experience onboard a whale catcher in the Antartic and he insisted that this was a right whale. However, the incident was not photo documented".
